To meet the continuing demand for miniature components for portable devices, the 01005-RK73H1F precision surface-mount resistor measures just 0.4 x 0.2 x 0.1 mm. The component is therefore 55 percent smaller than a 0201-size chip resistor. This thick-film resistor has a power rating of 0.33 W, a resistance range of 10 W ~ 1 M at 1 percent tolerance, and a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of 250 ~ 300 ppm/C. The surface-mount resistor is manufactured to RK73H standards. It promises to provide superior resistance over standard chip resistors in maximum working voltage. With less sensitivity to process and design variables, the 01005(1F) size is suitable for a wide range of applications that require compact, reliable, surface-mount chip resistors. It is suited for applications like package-on-package (PoP) high-density printed-circuit boards (PCBs), mobile phones, RF modules, micro drives, handheld memory products (SD cards), portable application- mobile phones, and digital cameras.
