Innovative Power Products has released model IPP-4011, a low-loss patent-pending 90-deg. hybrid coupler that transforms an impedance of 25 ohms to a characteristic impednace of 50 ohms. It can be used from 1.0 to 2.5 GHz with less than 0.5 dB insertion loss and less than 1.30:1 VSWR. Phase balance is within +/-5 deg. while amplitude balance is within +/-0.9 dB. The rugged coupler, which is rated for operating temperatures from -55 to +85C, can handle power levels to 300 W. It also provides better than 14 dB isolation. It measures 2.20 x 0.80 x 0.23 in. with silver-plated leads.
