Half-Pitch DIP Switches Target Space-Critical Apps

DTCD and DTCJ 1.27-mm-pitch DIP switches will significantly reduce footprint without compromising functionality.

Designed for high-density electronic applications, the DTCD and DTCJ 1.27-mm-pitch DIP switches from Shurter have a height of 2.2 mm and offer up to 46% PCB space savings compared to traditional 2.54-mm solutions. They enable significant footprint reduction without compromising functionality.

The switches, which come in Gullwing and J-bend termination versions, are optimized for automated SMT assembly. Supporting up to 1,000 mechanical cycles and operating reliably across a temperature range of –40 to +85°C, the devices have a low contact resistance (≤100 mΩ initial) and stable electrical ratings (up to 100 mA at 50 V), ensuring consistent signal performance.
