Model MSD-1698904 from Microwave Solutions is a rugged power amplifier capable of 40-dB gain from 400 to 500 MHz. It features +/- 1 dB gain flatness across its bandwidth and delivers +47 dBm typical output power at 1-dB compression (and minimum of +46 dBm). The input/output VSWR is 2.0:1. The amplifier, which typically draws 6 A current from a +28-VDC supply, is supplied with SMA female input and output RF connectors. It is designed for military applications and environments over an operating temperature range of -55 to +85C and is available with TTL control.
