Rohde & Schwarz Teases “Game-Changing" Signal Analyzer

June 10, 2025
The test and measurement leader claims the new analyzer will “overcome limitations of today’s measurement methods thanks to a novel architecture combining multiple input ports with cross-correlation techniques."

In its Booth #1443 at IMS 2025, Rohde & Schwarz will debut what it’s terming a “game-changing” signal analyzer that ushers in completely new measurement scenarios in RF system testing. The instrument will offer a novel architecture that combines multiple input ports with cross-correlation techniques.

The instrument, to be unveiled at an in-booth event as the show opens on Tuesday, June 17, provides wider modulation bandwidths and higher modulation orders to address requirements imposed by ever-increasing data rates.

Also new at IMS from Rohde is its R&S ZNB3000 vector network analyzer, which is optimized for high-volume production and short ramp-up times thanks to sweep cycle times of 11.8 ms (1,601 points, 1 MHz to 26.5 GHz). Available with two or four ports, the ZNB3000 provides high output power of 11 dBm at 26.5 GHz, which is at the top of its frequency range.

In addition, the company plans to showcase updates for its R&S FSWP phase-noise analyzer and voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) tester. Besides a frequency-range extension, the phase-noise analyzer’s capabilities have been expanded for additive and residual phase-noise measurements and the support of external high-end sources as local oscillators.
