Lite Coms Receives $22 Million for Satcom

The company received a $22 million contract for an advanced satcom system solution that brings secure tactical communications.

With a strong background in developing secure communications for several markets, Lite Coms announced receiving a $22 million contract to provide advanced technologies for satellite-communications (satcom) systems. The Victor, N.Y. company indicated that the contract is in support of government users with rapidly evolving mission requirements for increasingly complex and demanding applications in challenging operating environments.

Nate Giordano, Director of Program Management at Lite Coms, explained the tremendous gratitude across the company for the contract and the customer. “This award reflects the confidence our customer has in Lite Coms' ability to deliver secure, resilient, and rapidly deployable communications solutions.”

Regarding the application for secure communications, Giordano added, “We are proud to support this mission and remain committed to ensuring satcom users have access to the capabilities they need, wherever operations take them.”

The contract reinforces strong reputations for Lite Coms not only as an innovative designer of satcom and other tactical mobile wireless communications systems solutions, but as a flexible manufacturer of integrated electronic systems with extremely high reliability even when operating in extremely adverse conditions. The company works closely with customers and industry partners to meet or exceed performance requirements even under the most difficult operating conditions.
