VersiCal is a calibration software package developed by modeling specialist Modelithics that makes possible accurate broadband vector network analyzer (VNA) calibrations with lumped calibration standards. The software supports cSOLT and cSOLR calibrations with these lumped-element calibration standards and is compatible with most commercial microwave VNAs from leading suppliers, including Agilent Technologies, Anritsu Co., and Rohde & Schwarz. The software also supports both in-fixture and on-wafer calibrations. It also has other applications, such as improved SOLT calibrations with fixed coaxial loads, promising with accuracy comparable to TRL or sliding-load calibrations. A calibration comparison tool is included to allow quick and convenient accuracy calibrations between alternative methods.
