Astronics Unveils Latest Land Mobile Radio Service Monitor

Land Mobile Radio Service Monitor Performs Advanced Testing and Analysis

Aug. 6, 2025
Astronics' ATS-9000M Land Mobile Radio Service Monitor for LMR testing offers enhanced performance, expanded capabilities, and full protocol support in a portable design.

The ATS-9000M Communications System Analyzer from Astronics is a next-generation solution for land mobile radio (LMR) testing. It improves performance, expands capabilities, and offers full protocol support in a portable design.

Building on its predecessor, the R8200, the service monitor retains all of the previous features while introducing significant enhancements. Equipped with a two-port, one-path vector network analyzer (VNA), the ATS-9000M can perform both radio and infrastructure testing with precise RF network measurements such as cable loss and insertion loss.

Features include a 10.1-in. touchscreen display and an intuitive user interface with an updated operating system leveraging software-based instrumentation. This allows users to update software and download additional options in the field. Supporting all protocols, the system also delivers improved performance in its spectrum analyzer, FM, and P25 capabilities.
