Quectel Wireless offers a range of GNSS modules, antennas, and smart modules like the SG865W-WF (see figure). In this video demonstration, Quectel's Naveen Kumar shows how adding machine-learning support to an application running on one of the high-end modules can improve system performance and functionality.

The SG865W-WF is based on Qualcomm's QC8250 system-on-chip (SoC). The SoC includes an eight-core Kryo 585 CPU, Adreno 650 GPU, Adreno 995 DPU, Adreno 665 VPU, Hexagon DSP, and Spectra 480 ISP. It incorporates support for Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.1. The chip runs Android OS 10 and also has 8 GB of LPDDR5 and 64 GB of UFS flash storage on-module. It can handle challenging tasks such as video streaming.
