Human-Scale Hololuminescent Display Targets Digital Signage

Looking Glass unveiled a razor-thin, human-scale hololuminescent display that's intended for public experiences.
Jan. 5, 2026

Presented as the first thin, human-scale holographic display, Looking Glass's 86-inch Hololuminescent Display (HLD) is designed specifically for digital signage and public experiences. Less than two inches thick, the HLD installs anywhere a traditional 2D display can go, presenting life-size holographic humans, products, and characters without the bulk of a legacy solution.

The display is capable of presenting an image with an apparent 24 inches of holographic depth to a group of viewers, without headsets or single-viewer limitations. Features include true 4K resolution, integrated touchscreen, 4K camera, echo-cancelling microphone, and stereo speakers. Plus, it's compatible with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Unity, Unreal, Cinema4D, and AI tools like Veo and Runway. There are no fans or other moving parts.
