Precision Op Amp Delivers Accuracy, Speed, and Stability
Leveraging chopper stabilization, unusual among 10-MHz op amps, STMicroelectronics’ TSZ901 operational amplifier combines precision and zero-drift properties with a 10-MHz gain bandwidth to add stability to applications that demand high speed and accuracy.
Features include an input-offset voltage of 5 µV at 25°C, and it's within 8 µV across the full operating temperature range from –40 to 125°C without trimming. Input noise is 9 nV/√Hz. The TSZ901 draws 1.5 mA at 5 V with a supply voltage from 5.5 to 2.5 V.
The TSZ901 addresses circuits such as MEMS-sensor interfaces, current-sense amplifiers, precision active filters, instrumentation buffers, transimpedance amplifiers, precision analog front ends, and voltage references. It can minimize calibration and external compensation components to lower overall circuit footprint and complexity, simplify design, and reduce the bill of materials.
Housed in a SOT23-5 package, the op amp is AEC-Q100 qualified for use in automotive modules and power supplies, as well as industrial sensors, controls, and medical instruments.
