In-Series Adapter Passes 40 GHz

This low-loss adapter joins 2.9-mm male and female connectors to 40 GHz.

When linking high-frequency coaxial cables and connectors of different sexes, the model 370SF-40 adapter joins 2.9-mm straight male and 2.9-mm right-angle (90-deg.) female connectors with low loss and high reliability. It is designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of the MIL-C-39012 standard, composed of stainless-steel body and coupling nut per QQ-S-764 Type 303 stainless steel. The contact is formed of beryllium copper as per QQ-C-530, while the insulators are composed of Teflon per MIL-P-19468A. The adapter achieves low VSWR not exceeding 1.30:1 at frequencies through 40 GHz.
