To provide high-performance repeatability in a small package, the BFCN-7200+ low-temperature-cofired-ceramic (LTCC) bandpass filter is constructed with five layers. It covers a passband of 7100 to 7300 MHz while typically exhibiting 2.0 dB of insertion loss. The 50-Ω bandpass filter measures 3.2 x 1.6 mm. It includes wrap-around terminations to minimize variations in performance due to parasitics. It also allows for the high layout density of circuit boards. In addition, it vows to provide superior solderability and easy visual inspection capability. For improved system performance, it offers sharp rejection peaks close to the stopband and passband. The BFCN-7200+ comes in a rugged package that is well suited for environments with high humidity and temperature extremes.
