dB Control—Has been awarded a $3.3-million order by the US Navy to produce high-power products and services. The contract is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) with one base year and four option years. Agilent Technologies—The company’s Advanced Design System (ADS) platform has been selected by Sivers IMA. It plans to utilize ADS for silicon-based radio-frequency-integrated-circuit (RFIC)/monolithic-microwave-integrated-circuit (MMIC) implementation.

Raytheon Co.—Has received an order from the US Air Force to produce four radar pods with ground-moving target indication and synthetic-aperture radar technology. The radar will be mounted under the wings of MQ-9 Reaper aircraft.

RELM Wireless Corp.—Has received its first order under a previously announced Tactical-Communications (TacCom) contract with the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Totaling approximately $128,000, the order is for P25 digital, very-high-frequency (VHF) portable radios and related equipment.

Lockheed Martin—Has received a Phase I Airborne Launch Assist Space Access (ALASA) program study contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The order is valued at about $6.2 million. The ALASA program is geared toward the development of technologies that will maintain vital satellite capabilities during a crisis.
