Fabless semiconductor company Inphi Corp. has added Dr. Tsugio Makimoto to the company in the capacity as advisor to the company in Japan. He spent most of his career with Hitachi Ltd., including Senior Executive and Managing Director in 1997, and has served as Corporate Senior Executive Vice-President with Sony. He was nominated as an IEEE Fellow in 1997 and has authored several books on semiconductors.

Young Sohn, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Inphi, remarks: "We are very excited to have Dr. Makimoto join our advisory board.
