Anritsu Company introduces the MS271xB family of economy microwave spectrum analyzers,
with three models covering applications from 9 kHz to 7.1, 13, and 20 GHz, respectively. The
instruments provide resolution bandwidths from 1 Hz to 3 MHz with amplitude accuracy of
better than +/- 1.3 dB and phase noise of -114 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. All three
models offer optional WCDMA/HSDPA RF measurements, and optional IQ demodulation
hardware to support WCDMA demodulation. The 7.1 GHz MS2717B has an optional tracking
generator to support filter and amplifier measurements, and optional WiMAX measurements
that can be used by Fixed WiMAX equipment manufacturers. The best feature is the price, starting
at less than $13,000 USD for the 7.1-GHz model.
