The Signal Studio for 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) software from Agilent Technologies is designed to work with the Agilent's N5182A MXG and E4438C ESG vector signal generators to create the complex waveforms used in 3GPP LTE mobile wireless communications systems. The PC-based software features a simple user interface for creating standards-based LTE signals, allowing operators to tailor test signals for different devices under test (DUTs), such as the power amplifiers in LTE handsets and the base transceiver station (BTS) equipment. The software controls bandwidth, modulation type, number of channels, types of channels, channel power level, payload data, resource block allocation, and other parameters in setting up accurate LTE test signals.
