MetricTest is offering RF/microwave test equipment from Advantest in the United States. One of the Advantest instruments is the model U3751 spectrum analyzer, with a frequency range of 9 kHz to 8 GHz. The analyzer features resolution-bandwidth filters ranging from 100 Hz to 3 MHz and video-bandwidth filters from 10 Hz to 3 MHz. It can detect signal levels from the displayed average noise floor (DANL) through +30 dBm; the DANL is better than -122 dBm without the built-in preamplifier and better than -139 dBm with the built-in preamplifier turned on. The preamplifier covers a frequency range of 10 MHz to 8 GHz.
