RF Series frequency synnthesizers from Elcom Technologies are single-loop designs with 50-microsecond frequency switching speed across bandwidths as wide as 25 percent from 1 to 23 GHz. The phase-lock-loop (PLL) synthesizers feature step sizes of 1, 5, or 10 MHz and can handle vibration conditions exceeding 6 g's RMS. The phase noise is -110 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from a 10-GHz carrier. Ideal for use in spread-spectrum airborne systems, the rugged synthesizer modules are hermetically sealed with laser-welded RF and DC connectors.
