Agilent Technologies is offering a free DVD on a study that included one billion solder joints and various defects as conducted by the company in 1999. The study, conducted by Senior Test Strategy Consultant Stig Oresjo, examined test effectiveness as well as typical industry defect levels on solder joints. His research session was help in conjunction with the North American debut of Agilent's Medalist x6000 AXI x-ray inspection system.
