Agilent Technologies has announced the the new E5071C ENA Series RF vector network analyzer is the heir apparent for the venerable 8753 RF network analyzer. The E5071C ENA Series instruments feature integrated two- and four-port test sets and frequency range from 9 kHz to 8.5 GHz. Ideal for design and manufacturing, the new analyzers offer trace noise of only 0.004 dB RMS at an intermediate-frequency (IF) bandwidth of 70 kHz and dynamic range 123 dB for testing even the sharpest RF/microwave filters. With a two-port calibration, the analyzer achieves measurement speed of 39 ms for 1601 test points. The analyzer is supported with a variety of test software packages for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), automotive, wireless, aerospace/defense, and medical applications.
