A Comparison of Wireless Connectivity Protocols
Texas Instruments recently introduced Matter-enabled software development kits for Wi-Fi and Thread SimpleLink wireless microcontrollers. The kits are intended to help streamline adoption of the Matter protocol in IoT applications. Matter is a royalty-free standard to connect compatible devices and systems with one another. Matter runs on Thread and Wi-Fi network layers and uses Bluetooth Low Energy for commissioning.
