Synergy Microwave Corp. has announced the model DXO810900-10 surface-mount voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with a tunable frequency range of 8100 to 9000 MHz. It delivers at least -2 dBm output power across that range, with typical harmonics of -35 dBc and typical phase noise of -84 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. The VCO exhibits typical tuning sensitivity of 15 to 78 MHz/V for tuning voltages of 0.5 to 24.0 V. It draws a maximum of 35 mA current from a +10-VDC bias supply.
