Vectron International (www.vectron.com) has announced new packaging options for its 1100 Series of space-qualified clock oscillators. The 1116 Series ACMOS and 1117 Series TTL high-reliability clock oscillators are ruggedized versions of the company's MIL-PRF-55310/27 and MIL-PRF-55310/28 products and exceed MIL-STD-202 levels for shock and vibration. Available at customer-specified frequencies, the space clocks are supplied in J-lead surface-mount-technology (SMT) housings as well as half-dual-in-line-package (DIP) four-pin packages that are nearly one-half the length of conventional 14-pin DIPs.
