Designed for applications from 18.0 to 21.5 GHz, model M2V-82N-5JX is a high-dynamic-range in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) vector modulator with 360-deg. control for generating complex digital modulation in communications systems. Based on PIN diode technology, the compact modulator has switching speed o 350 ns. It features a 50-dB dynamic range and achieves simultaneous phase and amplitude control. The phase is accurate to +/-10 deg. while the amplitude is flat within +/-0.75 dB. The modulator can handle input levels to +15 dBm CW, and 1 W maximum on peaks. VSWR is better than 1.80:1. The modulator is designed for +/- 15-VDC supplies and measures 3.25 x 3.00 x 1.00 inches. For more information on the I/Q modulator, visit the G. T. Microwave web site at: http://www.gtmicrowave.com
