Developed by National Semiconductor, (Santa Clara, CA), WEBENCH Online Design Environment, with Active Filter Designer is a web-based tool that simplifies the design of active filters. By using the link at http://lists.planetee.com/cgi-bin3/DM/y/eA0JtlqC0Gth0BNeV0Aq , engineers can access a tool capable of creating a wide range of filter types, including lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and band-reject filters. The WEBENCH Active Filter Designer includes a powerful component selection tool for data acquisition and signal conditioning applications. By drawing from the company's extensive line of operational amplifiers, visitors to the site can create a filter, and then analyze performance when adjusting components and changing operating values (such as current and voltage). The on-line tool allows an operator to input design requirements, build, test and verify circuit performance, and compare results utilizing various different components to optimize performance. The WEBENCH Online Design Environment also supports the design of amplifiers and power supplies. Documentation is also available at the main web site.
