FBI Awards V2X for Aviation Maintenance

July 17, 2025
The FBI has contracted V2X to maintain and support its advanced and specialized aviation fleet.

The Critical Incident Response Group of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has awarded a $100 million contract to V2X for aviation maintenance and support services. Under the contract, V2X (McLean, Va.) will deliver mission-critical aviation resources that enable the FBI to conduct intelligence gathering, investigate operations, and law-enforcement activities.

V2X will support the FBI’s aviation fleet by providing field-level maintenance, special mission equipment sustainment, training, and administrative services (see image above).

Vinny Caputo, senior vice president of Aerospace Systems at V2X, noted, “This contract underscores V2X’s expertise in delivering agile aviation solutions in support of national security.” He added, “We are proud to provide the FBI with the aviation resources needed to execute their mission anytime, anywhere—ensuring operational readiness when it matters most.”

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, which will be fulfilled at multiple V2X locations across the U.S., includes a five-year ordering period, with four 12-month options.
