For most visitors to the 2012 International Microwave Symposium (IMS), a passport is needed to enter Canada. But a different kind of passport can be used on the IMS exhibition floor to qualify for prize drawings. Marketing communications agency Sheppard Leger Nowak (SLN) has teamed with Transline Technology (IMS booth No. 2452) for three days of challenges. June 19th is "Passport to IMS 2012," in which attendees and exhibitors visit 6 to 10 passport-designated booths. These participants have their exhibitor badges scanned and their special passport stamped to win either an iPod Touch (six stamps) or an iPad (ten stamps).
The following day, creative photographers can show their skills on the Passport to IMS Facebook page. Photos from the show floor or anywhere in Montreal should be posted on the Passport Facebook page by midnight to qualify for winning a Canon EOS, an iPod Nano, or a Flip Camera. Finally, on Thursday June 21st, the challenge is to run up the highest number of Twitter Tweets by 2 PM that day to win an iPhone 4S. The 10 participating passport companies are Amphenol Printed Circuits (booth No. 2340), Dynawave (2431), Hunter Technology (2618), MDL (723), Modelithics (1123), OPHIR RF (2602), Reactel (2210), Rogers Corp. (2902), Transline Technology (2452), TTE (300), and XMA Corp. (booth No.?) Prizes will be available at the end of each day at booth 2452, Transline Technology. For more on the content, click here.
