Printed-circuit-board (PCB) materials are the focus of product displays and presentations from Rogers Corp. Visitors to Booth No. 2039 will have a chance to learn more about RO4835 circuit laminates, with outstanding low dielectric loss tangent of 0.0037 at 10 GHz. The circuit material is now available with proprietary LoPro reverse-treated copper foil with smooth surface for reduced electrical variability across each board and from board to board. The materials are ideal for high-speed digital and microwave circuits.
When not at the booth explaining how to gain optimum use of its materials, Rogers’ Technical Marketing Manager John Coonrod will be making a pair of MicroApps presentations. The first, “High Frequency Circuits Which Bend and Flex,” is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, at 12:30 p.m., and covers how to select materials that need to bend a bit. The second, “Circuit Material Selection for Millimeter-Wave Applications," is slated for Tuesday, May 24, at 3 p.m., and provides insights on selecting PCBs for applications above 30 GHz. Either at the presentation or at the booth, attendees can learn more about circuit materials to meet the growing demand for millimeter-wave circuits in such applications as automotive safety systems and Fifth-Generation (5G) wireless systems.
