MileTek, a manufacturer and supplier of interconnection components for military and avionics applications, has taken on Spirit Electronics as its value-added distributor.

MilesTek, a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for military and avionics applications, has taken on Spirit Electronics as its value-added distributor. Spirit is a woman- and veteran-owned business based in Phoenix that supplies products and services in support of aerospace, defense, and communications systems, including parts for fighter jets and guided missiles.

As an example of its varied assortment of interconnection hardware, MilesTek has developed RoHS-compliant bus couplers, junction boxes, and connectors for military avionics and to meet MIL-STD-1553B requirements in communications systems for military and government customers. “By combining Spirit’s vast industry knowledge, resources and reach in the Mil/Aero electronics industry, MilesTek will now be able to provide even better service and more value-add options to our customers,” said Norm Brodeur, director of global distribution.

“We are excited to partner with MilesTek and to offer their innovative military avionics, telecom and MIL-STD-1553B connectivity solutions,” added Marti McCurdy, Spirit’s CEO.
