Mercury’s Multiple Sites Awarded AS9100D Certification

    April 10, 2018
Five different facilities of Mercury Systems were recently awarded Aerospace Standard 9100D (AS9100D) certification, in the U.S. and in Switzerland.

Mercury Systems recently received Aerospace Standard 9100D (AS9100D) accreditation for its facilities in Huntsville, Ala.; Cypress, Calif.; Oxnard, Calif.;  West Lafayette, Ind.; and Geneva, Switzerland. These certifications are an indication of the company’s policy to producing the highest-quality goods and services at these locations, and add to the AS9100C and/or ISO 9001 certifications at Mercury’s other sites.

The AS9100D Quality Management System (QMS) standard was established by the International Aerospace Quality Group in 1999. It is widely used across the aerospace and defense industries to indicate facilities dedicated to quality, safety, and continuous product improvement. The certification shows that Mercury Systems meets the aerospace industry’s demands for safe, reliable products that meet or exceed the requirements of aerospace industry customers and regulatory authorities.

“These recent certifications mark Mercury’s achievement in demonstrating the highest level of manufacturing, quality and customer service standards,” said Dean Holman, the company’s senior director, Global Mission Assurance. “Achieving and maintaining AS9100D certification, with its emphasis on product safety, counterfeit parts, and human factors, coupled with our Zero Defect Initiative, will help us continue to deliver quality products on time while mitigating risk. I am pleased to report that we are on track to achieve AS9100D certification at our remaining sites by the end of our fiscal 2018 fourth quarter.”
