Frequency synthesizer supplier Elcom Technologies has announced receipt of repeat orders from a top United States military contractor and an initial order from a Taiwan- based defense contractor for UFS Series frequency synthesizers. The customers' applications called for fast switching speeds and low phase noise. According to Jim Davis, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Elcom, "We are extremely pleased with the affirmation that our products increase our customer's capabilities. In addition, the orders represent the growing need for state-of-the-art synthesizers in the increasingly demanding world of electronic warfare (EW)." In addition to frequency synthesizers, Elcom offers several lines of frequency converters and microwave oscillators.
