Skyworks Solutions has received LG Electronics' 2007 Best Supplier Award in recognition of its technology, quality, product reliability and on-time delivery. Skyworks' integrated circuits (ICs) are incorporated in a wide range of LG Electronics' mobile handsets for all key air interfaces including CDMA, GSM and, increasingly, EDGE and WCDMA for 3G multimode applications.
According to Gi-seob Shin, executive vice-president for the procurement division at LG Electronics, "It is with great pleasure that LG Electronics grants our '2007 Best Supplier Award' to Skyworks, an extremely valuable business partner.
