Skyworks Solutions has received LG Electronics' 2007 Best Supplier Award in recognition of its technology, quality, product reliability and on-time delivery. Skyworks' integrated circuits (ICs) are incorporated in a wide range of LG Electronics' mobile handsets for all key air interfaces including CDMA, GSM and, increasingly, EDGE and WCDMA for 3G multimode applications.

According to Gi-seob Shin, executive vice-president for the procurement division at LG Electronics, "It is with great pleasure that LG Electronics grants our '2007 Best Supplier Award' to Skyworks, an extremely valuable business partner. We congratulate Skyworks on winning this award given the great contributions they have made to our successful mobile communications' business." Liam K. Griffin, Skyworks' senior vice-president, Sales and Marketing, replied, "We are honored to win LG's '2007 Best Supplier Award.' Their recognition of our efforts is a true testament to the dedication and focus of our entire team on developing innovative products and delivering operational excellence."
