Designed to tune from 960 to 1080 MHz with tuning voltages of 0.5 to 4.5 V, model CLV1020A-LF is a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) from Z-Communications with linear tuning characteristics and low phase noise. The oscillator features phase noise of typically +106 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier with typical tuning sensitivity of 40 MHz/V. It delivers +2 dBm output power at 20 mA and +5 VDC and exhibits typical second harmonics of -15 dBc. The RoHS-compliant source is supplied in the firm's standard MINI-14S package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. Model CLV1020A-LF is well suited for satellite communication and fixed wireless applications.
