Ideal for C-band fixed-wireless and digital-radio applications, model SMV5320A-LF is a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) from Z-Communications that tunes from 5245 To 5395 MHz by means of tuning voltages from +1 to +4 VDC. It delivers 0 dBm output power when fed with a +5-VDC supply, and has typical tuning sensitivity of 170 MHz/V. The phase noise is controlled to a manageable -81 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier. The RoHS-compliant oscillator features typical second-harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and is supplied in the company's standard SUB-L package measuring 0.3 in. x 0.3 in. x 0.08 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements.
