RFELHas won the 2012 Queen's Award for Enterprise (the United Kingdom's most prestigious award for business performance) in the Innovation category. The company was recognized for its range of digital-signal-processing technologies. This is the second time that RFEL has won a Queen's Awardthe first being in 2009.

AT&THas announced a $250-million expansion to the company's AT&T Aspire educational initiative. AT&T had previously invested more than $100 million into the program, which is tasked with promoting higher graduation rates among at-risk high-school students.

RFMDHas shipped more than 1 billion cellular power amplifiers (PAs) to handset manufacturers headquartered in the Greater China area. The company opened its first manufacturing facility in Beijing in 2002. Today, it maintains approximately 2000 employees in the country.

LPKFHas surpassed its revenue forecast for the 2011 financial year, owing to a strong fourth quarter. Exceeding the company's guidance of 83 to 86 million Euros, consolidated revenue increased by 12% year on year to 91.1 million Euros.
