Agilent Technologies, inc.Doug Baney, Manager of Agilent's Measurement and Sensors Department, was named an Ieee Fellow for his contributions in the field of optical measurement and sensing. Among Baney's accomplishments are his roles in the development of diode-pumped, heavymetal fiber lasers operating at the orange and blue wavelengths, an optical complex modulation analyzer, and the world's first laser mouse. In addition, the firm's portfolio of PXI and AXIe chassis and modules received the Frost & Sullivan Award for Customer Value enhancement in the Test and Measurement category.
