Model 8790 is a compact broadband amplifier developed by Amplifier Technology Ltd. for a variety of applications, including use in jammers and laboratory testing. Based on gallium-nitride (GaN) device technology, the amplifier features a frequency range of 20 MHz to 6 GHz with minimum saturated output power of 10 W and minimum efficiency of 15% at that output power. The amplifier measures just 65 x 120 x 25 mm and weighs less than 250 g.
