Raytheon Co. and Northrop Grumman Co.Completed the development phase of the Cobra Judy Replacement (CJR) program. The two companies successfully delivered the CJR S-band active phased-array antenna to the CJR integration site at Kiewit Offshore Services, Corpus Christi, TX. The CJR program's mission is to provide the government with long-loiter, ballistic-missile data-collection capability. Its dual-band radar suite consists of X-band and S-band phased-array sensors, a common radar suite controller, and other related mission equipment. The program now progresses to full dual-band-radar integration and testing.
Harris Corp.
Received a $7.6-million order from the US Department of Defense (DoD) for its Falcon III AN/PRC-117G multiband manpack radio systems. The DoD is acquiring the radios to provide deployed forces with expanded wireless tactical communications capabilities, such as video, e-mail, and collaborative chat. Lockheed MartinReceived a production contract totaling $789.8 million to produce the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System for the Missile Defense Agency. The contract includes $694.9 million for the production of 48 THAAD interceptors, six THAAD launchers, four fire-control units, and additional support equipment. An option for additional launchers in the amount of $94.8 million was also awarded.

Has selected ASC Signal Corp.'s antennas for its Forward-Deployed Asset Support Terminal (FAST) system, which enables the rapid setup of disaster-recovery communications solutions. The ASC Signal antennas will help support tens of megabits of uplink connectivity in the C- and Ku-band frequencies.

Equipped with multiple built-in programming options, the device is suitable for a wide range of UHF RFID applications.
