A pair of wideband mobile load coil antennas from Laird Technologies suits wireless systems operating from 132 to 174 MHz. Model B1322W features a field-tunable frequency range of 132 to 174 MHz that allows the user to achieve less than 2.0:1 VSWR at the center frequency. Model B1360W covers 136 to 174 MHz but does not require tuning. Both antennas have an omnidirectional pattern with vertical polarization, and a maximum power of 100 W. The antennas include one-piece solid brass inserts, durable ABS injection molded housings, and weather-tight bases with built-in 0-rings. Gold push-pin contacts preserve best power transfer over time, and stainless steel whips resist bending and rust. They include an ultraviolet (UV) treated radome.
