QUALCOMMDr. Irwin Mark Jacobs will retire from the company's board of directors at the conclusion of his current term. In recognition of his achievements with Qualcomm, the board has conferred upon him the title of Founding Chairman and CEO Emeritus. Jacobs served as Chief Executive Officer from Qualcomm's founding in 1985 to its 20th anniversary in 2005. He also served as Chairman from the company's founding until 2009. Jacobs is currently Chair of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies as well as for the National Academy of Engineering. He has received numerous industry, education, and business accolades.

In addition, Mark Darragh has been named Product Manager for Leakage Systems in the Broadband Instruments Division. Darragh joined the company in 2007 as an Applications Engineer. Finally, John Bush has been appointed Senior Systems Sales Engineer, also within the Broadband Instruments Division. Bush has held numerous technical application-support and sales-engineering roles since joining Trilithic in 2004.
