Models PLS-2 and PLS-2+ are broadband diode limiters from Mini-Circuits designed for applications from 100 to 900 MHz. Suitable for commercial and military systems, the limiters are designed for minimum input power of +3 dBm and maximum input power of +15 dBm (100 mW). Model PLS-2 is a standard unit and model PLS-2+ is a RoHS-compliant unit. Both models feature minimal output amplitude variations over the input-power range with worst-case performance of about 0.71 dB at 900 MHz and +15 dBm. The plug-in limiters, which operate with maximum control current of 10 mA, are ideal for providing constant-amplitude signals in phase-sensitive systems.
