The OCXO 147 series of oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXOs) from Isotemp Research provides low-phase-noise performance for frequencies from 5 to 50 MHz. Delivering HCMOS level outputs, the oscillators achieve phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz offset 10 Hz from the carrier. Frequency stability is as good as +/-30 ppb for temperatures from 0 to +70 deg. C. The oscillators are designed to run on supply voltages of +3.3 or +5 VDC. The miniature oscillators measure only 20.3 x 12.7 mm. The OCXOs can be used in many communication applications requiring high frequency stability and low phase noise such as master system clocks, femtocells, and mobile base stations.
