Model DCO80100-5 is a surface-mount voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) from Synergy Microwave designed for outstanding phase-noise performance from 800 to 1000 MHz in a miniature package. It tunes by voltages of 0.5 to 8.0 V and provides at least +4 dBm output power over its tuning range. The typical phase noise is -111 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier and -132 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier. Typical frequency pulling is 8 MHz into a 1.75:1 VSWR while typical frequency pushing is 3 MHz/V. The VCO measures just 0.3 x 0.3 in.
