    A detailed brochure from Agilent Technologies explains the test challenges faced by engineers in characterizing and evaluating PCI Express designs, and describes some of the measurement solutions offered by the test-and-measurement company. PCI Express technology is used in systems that require high-speed transfer of data, such as video or graphics file. It was originally applied to desktop and server computers but is now widely used in embedded applications, including in automatic-test-equipment (ATE) applications.
