Noise XT Makes US Debut At 2010 IMS

While many firms roll out new products on the annual IMS exhibition floor, some companies choose to roll themselves out as part of their news. This year, Noise Extended Technologies S.A.S. (Noise XT), a company already known in Europe for its exceptional phase-measurement solutions, is using the 2010 IMS to make its United States debut. It is the first public exhibition by Noise XT since the buy-out by employees of Aeroflex-Europtest (Elancourt, France). The company will be showing some of those high-performance phase-noise measurement systems on the IMS exhibition floor. The systems are of interest to anyone designing oscillators and synthesizers and trying to push down phase noise to the lowest levels. The firm's Dual Channel Phase Noise Test System (DCNTS), for example, is a two-channel phase and amplitude noise analyzer designed with a dual demodulator architecture that allows the test system to use cross-correlation to cancel its internal noise.

The firm also supplies low-noise crystal, surface-acoustic-wave (SAW), and optical-electrical-optical (OEO) microwave oscillators as well as low-noise amplifiers.
