The model CRBV55CW-0500-1000 RedBox voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) from Crystek tunes from 500 to 1000 MHz with a control voltage range of about 0.5 to 18.0 V. The VCO features typical phase noise of -104 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz offset and delivers typical output power of +7 dBm. It is supplied in an aluminum housing measuring 1.25 x 1.25 x 0.58 in. with SMA connectors. It runs on a supply voltage of 12 V and has maximum current consumption of 20 mA. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 4.0 MHz and 2.0 MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is typically -5 dBc.
