Rockwell Collins, a leading supplier of communications solutions for military and government applications, announced that Phil Jasper has been named Vice President of Business Development for Rockwell Collins Government Systems. His former position of Vice President and General Manager of Mobility and Rotary Wing Solutions for Rockwell Collins will be fi lled by Dave Nieuwsma. Jasper, who joined Rockwell Collins in 1992 and has held various engineering and management positions with the fi rm, will lead the marketing and sales organization for Government Systems. Nieuwsma, who has been with Rockwell Collins since 1991 and most recently held the position of Senior Director of Tanker/Transport Solutions, now has responsibility for Government Systems' fi xed and rotary wing solutions for a variety of defense platforms.
