Model CRO3000B-LF is a RoHS-compliant voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) from Z-Communications with low phase noise at 3 GHz. The fixed-frequency oscillator allows for tuning adjustments at 3 GHz via a tuning voltage range of 0.5 to 4.0 V. It features phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz offset 10 kHz from the carrier with typical tuning sensitivity of 11 MHz/V. The oscillator delivers +9 dBm typical output power from +5 VDC and typically 20 mA current. Second harmonics are typically -20 dBc. The source, which is available in tape-and-reel format for use with automated assembly equipment, is supplied in the firm's standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in.
