Multithrow switches can channel signals to their proper destinations in a design, whether in a commercial communications system or in a military radar. Fortunately, some suppliers offer a variety of different switch configurations in modular formats, so that customers can select not only the input/output signal arrangement they need, but the form factor as well. Companies such as RLC Electronics, for example, provide switch modules in double-through configurations through 65 GHz, six-throw arrangements through 40 GHz, and 7-throw through 12-throw switch modules through 18 GHz.
